Located conveniently close to the airport, we appreciated the easy access while still enjoying the peaceful outlook over the large paddock area filled with friendly animals and vibrant birds-an unexpected delight for the children. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor pool, where we spent lazy afternoons splashing about while soaking up the sun. The kids loved the interactive experience of seeing animals just a short distance from our room, which added a unique touch to our stay. The staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to use their fridge for our snacks and being helpful during the check-in process despite a bit of rain and the local load shedding. A special mention goes to Thomas, whose warm interaction truly made us feel right at home, alongside the lovely lady serving breakfast who brightened our mornings. I can confidently say we'll return one day if we're back in Johannesburg, and I'd absolutely recommend Airport Game Lodge to other families looking for a welcoming atmosphere.
